I have been building this custom sailing proa for 6 years and she is near completion. She is run entirely on electrical power from 2.8 kW of solar panels and eight 12V/160 Ah Lithium batteries. She is near completion and I'm looking for a partner to finance the completion and possibly buy me out at a later date.

Due to my age and recent back operation, I am unable to trailer the boat and rig it for launching as in the past. Now need a sailing partner to assist me with both the cost of slipping the boat and sailing. I am retired, so any mutually agreed days of the week are acceptable for sailing including weekends. Once the partner is competent to handle the boat, he is eligible to take it out on mutual agreeable overnight periods. The boat is slipped at Lake Mead Marina and therefore the partner should be from the Las Vegas Nevada area for maximum boat utilization.

I am an experienced sailor with over 20,000 ocean miles including: Sailed from The Canaries to St. Lucia, New Zealand to Tahiti, San Diego to Tahiti. from South Hampton England to Majorca in the Med and New York to Bermuda. I have been in SailTime for eight years (Charleston and St. Augustine), but want to own my own boat, but willing to share use with one or two others. I am considering purchasing a Beneteau Oceanis 45 that I would like to share with one or two other people similar to a SailTime program, but not part of SailTime. I would own the boat and would be responsible for the operating expenses and the share person would be allowed one week per month (I am flexible on the exact arrangement). It will be a late model 2012 or newer and would have AC/Generator/Furling main and jib. I would keep the boat in St. Augustine, Florida. If interested in a sharing arrangement and are an experienced sailor please call 404-229-0507 (Martin)

I am a Dentist who likes to sail and likes to travel. At 53, I am in the process of trying to retire and take advantage of whatever time God gives me to sail, live healthy, and travel the world helping others when possible. My wife and I hope to circumnavigate starting in 2017. While sailing in the Abacos we recognized a need for supportive dental care for cruising folks. My thought is if I can offering my skills in exchange for my own needs such as fuel, food and upkeep of the ship, we could retire anywhere and everywhere... Healthy happy and suntanned. Obviously this has a fairly high initial price to buy the perfect boat and outfit it with solid yet portable equipment and supplies. I have my captains license so one option is to offer crewed charters, or even dental education CE credits to sailing Dentists. Realizing that I can't be the only Dentist who likes to sail, I've created a business model to provide options in hopes of eventually creating a fleet or dental office catamarans. Ideally, as an associate or partner, your could choose to staff one of a choice of vessels located around the globe and sail for as long as you want where you want and maybe even do a little dentistry. I will do this myself if necessary, but it is always nice to make new friends and grow personally as well as financially. If you are a Dentist or a Doctor, write me and let's see if we can create World Wide Smiles
